Food Budget Review – August 2019

Every month I do a quick run-down of last month’s food budget. Just to give you an idea of where our money goes in terms of food. We have a $400 monthly budget for food, and we generally stay well under it.

If you’re interested in the ins and outs of the groceries I buy and what we eat I’ll be writing a post soon and linking it here.

August Food Budget

This month, we stayed under our food budget. There was nothing really out of the ordinary. We ate out at restaurants 3 times, which is pretty normal for us, with a couple coffees and sticky buns thrown in.

We’re not super strict with our food budget. And I’m sure we could cut back if needed, but we don’t really spend money on anything else.

I also LOVE cooking super delicious and healthy meals, so it’s worth spending a bit more for good quality stuff.

Do you have a food budget?

How much do you spend on food each month?

Foodie, traveler, hippy. I love to cook healthy and delicious food. I do everything as naturally as possible (some would call me a granola girl or a hippy). I also LOVE to travel and experience new cultures and foods!
