    The Olympics …. big deal?

    I used to watch the Olympics regularly, always looked for the medal counts of countries, and marveled at how athletes who were barely into their teens had become among the best of the best. The accomplishments at such young ages still amazes me. To me, this is what always made the Olympics special; the young amateurs that defined what the Olympic spirit is about.     Goodbye winter, hello wedges

    It’s almost time. A couple of weeks, and the bag comes out of the garage & gets stocked with balls and tees. The shoes get broken in again. Pick up a new visor. Find all the little gadgets and gizmos to carry.

    Golf season is almost here.
