   Surviving a slow summer

   It’s pretty safe to assume that many American industries will be affected this summer, if not already, by the price of gas. Tourism and travel will probably be hardest hit. What’s a double whammy for me is that my primary job revolves mostly around the recreational vehicle industry; not only am I paying more for gas like everyone else, but our work customers are slowing down as well, which will soon be affecting my work hours and income.    The American dream, as I always understood it, is supposed to be being able to find & create opportunities, work hard, and achieve your own level of success. The freedom to learn what you want to learn, do what you enjoy, and prosper ( or try to, anyway ) …. who wouldn’t follow through and pursue their own dream?
